Bostik 6S Neutral Cure Sanitary & Tile Silicone Sealant 300ml - Titanium

Bostik 6S is a one-component, non-flowing, neutral-cure, mid-modulus silicone sealant for sanitary and tiling work. It is formulated with a fungicide to resist mould and mildew, bonds well to powder-coated metal and ceramic tiles, and is more pleasant to work with in confined spaces such as showers. It meets the NZFSA C82 standard.

Suitable for

• Bathrooms
• Fibreglass spa units
• Shower screens
• Ceramic tiles, and tile and grout areas
• Around the edges of kitchen bench tops
• Edges of splashbacks (not the back of splashbacks; Bostik V60 is recommended there)
• Cool rooms

Not suitable for

• Totally confined spaces (the sealant needs atmospheric humidity to cure)
• Aquariums
• Adhering mirrors
• Structural glazing
• Underwater use, including swimming pools
• Below-grade applications
• Stone (test first; Bostik 5CLM is recommended for granite and marble)
• Horizontal walkways
• It is not paintable
