Bostik Kitchen & Bathroom AC Acetic Cure Silicone Sealant 300ml - Translucent

Bostik Kitchen & Bathroom AC is an acetic (acetoxy) cure silicone sealant for everyday wet areas. It seals around showers, bathtubs, glass screens and kitchen and bathroom fixtures, cures quickly, and stays clearer over time than oxime silicones. It contains a fungicide to resist mould and mildew in hot, humid conditions.

Suitable for

• Sealing in wet areas

• Most laminated surfaces
• Fibre glass
• Rimless sinks
• Bathroom and kitchen fixtures
• Vitreous toilet pans

Not suitable for

• Marble, granite or other stone
• Totally confined spaces (the sealant needs atmospheric humidity to cure)
• Aquariums
• Adhering mirrors
• Structural glazing
• Composite panels
• Underwater use, including swimming pools
• Below-grade applications
• Horizontal walkways and trafficable areas
• Polycarbonate sheeting
• Concrete, or light metal in roof gutter applications (e.g. Colorbond)
• It may discolour copper and brass, and it is not paintable

Specifications

Note: chlorinated cleaners and fumes from uncured paint can cause a slight colour shift. Keep the sealant clean and dry around showers and baths.
